Every product we export is connected to a real person and a real place. Our sustainability commitment starts there.
We pay above-market prices at origin — always. Our weavers earn 2–3× the local wage equivalent. Coffee farmers receive a 20–35% premium above the commodity price, with direct farm contracts that guarantee income stability through harvest cycles.
All our home decor products use locally harvested rattan, bamboo, and coconut shell — no synthetic materials. Our tenun ikat uses natural plant dyes only: indigo, teak bark, morinda root. Nothing synthetic touches the fabric.
Our coconut shell products are 100% upcycled. Every shell is a by-product of local coconut oil production that would otherwise be discarded. We estimate we divert 4+ tonnes of shell waste per year from landfill.
Our Bajawa coffee farmers use traditional shaded agroforestry — coffee grown under native tree canopy. This practice sequesters carbon, protects soil, and maintains biodiversity. We are working toward organic certification.
5% of every order value goes into our Flores Community Fund, used for weaving school scholarships, medical support, and tools for new artisan members. Buyers receive a fund report annually.
