Our Story

Heritage made global.

We are a Jakarta-based export company with a simple mission: connect the extraordinary craftspeople and farmers of Flores Island with buyers around the world โ€” directly, transparently, and fairly.

Where It Began

In 2023, we made our first trip to Flores with a backpack and a lot of questions. What we found changed everything.

The rattan baskets being made in Wae Rebo. The coffee cherries being hand-picked at dawn above Bajawa. The ikat loom set up in a bamboo workshop in Maumere. Products of extraordinary quality โ€” and almost no international visibility.

From Flores was built to change that. We are not a marketplace or a middleman aggregator. We are an export company with deep, direct relationships with the communities we work with โ€” and a commitment to ensuring those relationships are built on fair prices and long-term trust.

Our team is split between Jakarta and Flores. We visit our partners regularly, we cup the coffee ourselves, and we know the name of every master weaver we work with. That is the difference.

What We Stand For

Our values.

01
Direct at Origin
No trading houses. We buy directly from artisans and farmers โ€” always. The price you pay traces back to the person who made it.
02
Full Transparency
We share farm locations, weaver names, and production details. You know exactly where every product comes from.
03
Fair Prices Always
We pay above-market prices at origin โ€” not because we have to, but because we believe it is the right way to build supply chains.
04
Long-Term Relationships
We do not hop suppliers for cheaper options. We invest in our partners and build relationships that outlast single transactions.
